While fine-tuning soap formulas like this one seems challenging enough, the hardest part for me in this biz is the actual biz part!
Margins, math, and spreadsheets, oh my! Learning my actual costs was so eye-opening, and yet terrifying.
Diving into the depths of Excel is mind-numbing. What about packaging & shipping costs? Oh yeah, those too!
At the start, I imagined designs, techniques, and formulas would be some of the most significant learning curves. Wrong!
Soap formulas aside, I never knew I'd do so much math. But I am learning how to improve, plan, and fumble around in business, and maybe one day I'll be decent at it!
